SCT Pro is a modernized version of SCT that runs in the browser and does not require the Launcher. SCT Pro provides significantly streamlined workflows, and greatly simplifies tasks that were previously time consuming or cumbersome. For example, you can use SCT Pro to maintain healthy backup practices for a site, such as setting up backups to occur automatically on a recurring schedule.

When you install SCT, you also have access to the SCT Pro web application. You can launch the HTML user interface from SCT or from a URL on any client device type (workstation, tablet, or phone).

SCT Pro currently includes a subset of the features that are available in SCT. With each release, features from SCT are incorporated into SCT Pro and optimized to significantly streamline workflows and simplify tasks. For example, SCT Pro features a single, automated process to upgrade network engines. SCT Pro also includes features that are not available in SCT. SCT and SCT Pro use the same databases and share the same job scheduling system, named the Action Queue. You can use SCT and SCT Pro interchangeably and select the most appropriate application for the current task.

For a guided tour of features on a particular page in SCT Pro, click on your account name in the upper-right corner of the SCT Pro window, and then click Tour.
