The Metasys Database Manager provides both database management and database monitoring functions, handled in two separate windows. Database management includes summarized information on and methods for backing up, purging, and restoring Metasys system trend, alarm (event), and audit databases. An ADS Rename function is also available that is most useful if you are moving Metasys databases to a new computer. Monitoring includes an indication of database status compared to three levels of defined database sizes.
