Standard Graphics is the default Metasys graphics package used to design equipment and floor plan graphics in scalable vector based format. The package comprises of two components, Graphics Stencil Library (GSL) and User Graphics Tool (UGT).
GSL is a set of Visio Stencils, Templates, and add-ons (including Gzip, a compression utility), used with Microsoft® Visio® Professional 2002 to create graphics for use in your Metasys system. The graphic files created are imported in the User Graphics Tool (UGT), which has the ability to accept a wide variety of image formats such as SVGs, SVGZs, or JPG files for background images which can represent buildings, floor plans, mechanical equipment, and any other image that represents the location or function of the equipment in the graphic. Within UGT, users can bind their graphics to Metasys objects. Users can view Standard Graphics on the SMP user interface.
