  1. Navigate to the Settings options and select Load Shedding.
  2. From the drop-down list, select the Verasys IOM.

The BI-2 is automatically assigned to Load Shed. This means if there is a demand respond requirement for a Verasys system, the binary input must be set to On, based on dry contact. A load shed sequence then goes into affect. You can use this feature for State of California Title 24 Requirements for a zoning system. To configure an IOM for global shutdown, see Global shutdown.
