Install the BYP200 according to the guidelines available in the Verasys ZEC310 Zone Damper and BYP200 Bypass Damper Controllers Installation Guide 24-10143-1248 . To check the bypass damper, complete the following steps:

  1. Log on to the SBH200.
  2. Select the COBP damper from the Device list. The Bypass Damper menu appears. From the BYP200 home page you can view how the damper controls the zone.
  3. Start the supply fan. Ensure some zones are blocked to relieve pressure.
  4. Check the differential pressure sensor to ensure correct value.
  5. Navigate to the Setup tab and complete the following steps:
    1. Set the damper direction to Close on the damper.
Note: This setting only affects the internal actuator built into to the controller. The controller has the option to add a second actuator wired to a 0 V to 10 V output. When you use the M9106-GGA-2 actuator, a jumper setting determines the direction to close on the second damper. Other actuators need to have the option to switch the action of the actuator with a jumper or a switch.
    2. Verify the second actuator, if installed.
    3. Set the Unit Enable to Enable.
    4. Set the damper max position to limit how much the damper is allowed to open.
    5. Set a Differential Pressure Setpoint that the damper can maintain.
    6. Navigate to the Bypass home page to monitor operation and adjust the Duct Pressure Setpoint to the required value.
