To connect the Smart Building Hub to the FC field bus for communication, connect the RJ-12 cable to the Smart Building Hub and wire the other end to the FC bus using the field adapter connector.
Note: The Smart Building Hub has a dedicated MS/TP bus address of 03. The number of Smart Building Hub units that can be connected simultaneously to one MS/TP bus depends on the number of FC ports available and connected to the bus. The MS/TP bus can accommodate one Smart Building Hub on the FC bus.
Note: Performance of the Smart Building Hub varies based on the amount of traffic.
