Use the anti-short cycle delay feature to select the minimum time the output relay remains off or de-energized before the next On cycle can start or energize. The delay interval overrides any On condition or load demand and the output relay cannot start until the selected delay interval elapses, as shown in the following figure.
Use anti-short cycle delay for refrigeration applications to create time for the system pressure to equalize before the compressor restarts.
