To use the compatibility chart, complete the following steps:
  1. In the top row, locate the control unit's Initiating Device Circuit (IDC) part number.
  2. In the left column, locate the detector part number and in the third column, select the base part number.
  3. The intersection of the column and row defines the maximum number of detectors on an IDC monitor zone.
  4. Do not intermix detectors from different tables on the same IDC. Unless otherwise indicated in the table's notes, you can intermix detectors in the same table without restriction.
