About this task
Make adjustments gradually. Adjust by a 1/2 revolution at a time. Wait for the system to stabilize after each adjustment change. The throttling range, also known as the differential, is not adjustable.
- To increase the opening point of the valve, turn the adjusting screw inward, clockwise, away from main valve body as viewed from the bottom up. See Figure 1.
- To decrease the opening point, turn the adjusting screw outward, counterclockwise, toward the main valve body.
