About this task

To backup the SBH200 settings and restore them on a SBH300, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Log on to the SBH200 and preform a backup of the SBH200. For more information about backing up the SBH200, refer to the Backup section of the Verasys System User Guide LIT-1201237.
  2. Download the backup file to your computer.
  3. Note any changes to the BACnet Settings including MAC Address and Network Number.
  4. Log on to the SBH300 and set a new admin password. Note: This admin password will not be changed on a restore if it is different than the one on the SBH200.
  5. Connect the controllers to the SBH300 System Bus. For successful transfer of Schedules, Data Shares and Interlocks, ensure that you connect the controllers to the SBH300 before the restore.
  6. View the SBH300 BACnet settings and ensure that they match the SBH200 BACnet settings noted in Step 3.
  7. Click Settings > Restore.
  8. Select LC-SBH300-0 as the Device.
  9. From File as the Source, select the SBH200 backup file.
  10. Click Upload, select the SBH300.
  11. After the restore completes, the SBH300 reboots.
