Note:
BACnet IP routing requires an
Ethernet connection. The SBH Wi-Fi Client does not support BACnet IP
routing.
To configure the SBH system bus settings, complete the following
steps:- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Under the Settings tab, select the BACnet Settings
option and adjust the following parameters:
- Device Object Identifier – Identifies the SBH as a unique device on a BACnet network. Adjustable: 0 to 4194303, default 1.
- MAC Address – Sets the address on the system bus for the MS/TP network. Adjustable: 4 to 127, default 117.
- Network Number – Sets the routing address for devices under the SBH. Adjustable: 1 to 65534, default 64999. It is best practice to leave the network number on the default setting.
- Baud Rate – Sets the baud rate of the System Bus and can be used to match the Baud rate for different controllers connected to the System Bus. Adjustable to 1200, 9600, 19200, 38400 and 76800. All Verasys controllers and Smart Equipment will default to 38400.
