You can use the MSC loop to define the logic that when the space temperature sensor detects a drop in temperature, below the heating setpoint, then the damper closes, the fan turns off, and the unit heater stages turn on and off to maintain the space temperature setpoint. Heating setpoint: 60°F.

To configure the MSC loop, complete the following steps:
  1. On the SBH, navigate to Details > System Configuration > General, and set the following parameters:
    1. Unit Enable to Enable
    2. Multistage Control Loop Enable to Enable
    3. Number of Stages to 2.
  2. Navigate to Details > Multistage Control Loop > General, and set the following parameters:
    1. MSC Output Control Selector to PID Control
    2. Min On Time to 120 seconds
    3. Min Off Time to 120 seconds
  3. Navigate to Details > Multistage Control Loop > Remote setpoint FB control, and set the following parameters:
    1. Input Type to SAB Sensor
    2. Sensor Type to Temperature
    3. Netsensor Address to 199
    4. Network Input to 60.0
    5. Tuning Setup to Automatic
    6. Direct Acting to False
    7. Process ID to ZN-T
    8. Process Units to deg F
