Error modifying a point value |
The third-party controller point does not support the respective write operation. No marker available on the third-party controller to determine the ability to write to a point value. In those cases, an error message displays when a user tries to modify the value on a write operation such as adjust and set. |
This is the expected operation. Consult the documentation of the device or contact the vendor. |
Error on Priority Array tab | The third-party controller point does not support the priority array. | This is the expected operation. Consult the documentation of the device or contact the vendor. |
Controller does not appear in the SBH devices page | The SBH cannot reach the third-party device to communicate to it. |
Confirm the device is powered on. Check the wiring of the device and ensure that all other devices on the trunk are online. Confirm you have set the baud rate of the third-party controller to 38400. Confirm the max master attribute on every device connected to the MS/TP network. The max master attribute defines the highest MAC address that the MS/TP device looks for when initiating the token pass. The SBH has a default MAC address of 117. If the max master attribute for a different controller on the network is lower than 117, it cannot respond to the SBH. To resolve either change the MAC address of the SBH to an open address less than the max master attribute or raise the max master attribute to a higher value above 117 on the controller. |
