Description Cause
Zone Temp Unreliable All sources of zone temperature are unreliable. This includes the onboard sensor.
Open Window The switch that connects to the BI configures for Open Window senses that the window is open, and that the control has shut down.
Fan Lock The switch that connects to the BI you configure for Fan Lock does not sense airflow within 10 seconds of when you start the fan, and the control is shut down.
Controller Fault

The controller detects an internal fault that it cannot recover.

An unknown error prevents the controller from turning on.

Touchscreen Unavailable The touch screen components fails to initialize.
Board Mismatch The baseboard and CPU board pairs incorrectly. An error message appears on the TEC indicating the model number of the baseboard and CPU board.
Zone Temperature Too Cold The unit does not perform correctly.

Firmware Mismatch

The previous upgrade is not complete.

The previous downgrade is not complete as the system no longer supports the previous version of firmware.

Supply Fan Fault The fan status does not match the fan command.
Heating Ineffective The supply air temperature does not rise when the unit calls for heat.
Cooling Ineffective The supply air temperature does not fall when the unit calls for cold.
Supply Fan Runtime Limit The fan reaches the limit set in the Control Setup menu.

Remote Zone Temp Fail The External Zone Temperature sensor disconnects or fails.
Supply Temp Fail The External Supply Temperature sensor disconnects or fails.
Outdoor Temp Fail The External Outdoor Air Temperature sensor disconnects or fails.
Internal Sensor Fail An internal sensor fails on the TEC.
OA Lockouts Disabled The Local Outdoor Air Temperature sensor disconnects or fails, or a network Outdoor Air Temperature sensor times out, and the TEC is no longer shutting down equipment based on the OA lockout setpoints.
Econ Unavailable The Outdoor Air Temperature sensor does not install, fails, or disconnects, and the TEC cannot control the economizer.
Dehum Unavailable Dehumidification is unavailable because the zone humidity sensor fails.
Service Equipment connected to the BI configured for a Service alarm triggers the alarm.
Dirty Filter Equipment connected to the BI configured for a Dirty Filter alarm triggers the alarm.
Calibration Corrupt Factory calibration data is lost does not install.
Changeover Fail The Supply Temperature Sensor does not install, fails or disconnects, and the TEC can no longer detect changeover mode to cool or heat.
USB Malfunction A USB drive malfunctions and draws more than the maximum current.
Humidity Unreliable The humidity sensor reading fails.
