Before you begin

Download the Okta Verify app on your iOS phone from the Google Play® or Apple App Store®.

About this task

Johnson Controls uses Okta to manage MFA. The Welcome to Okta email is sent from noreply@okta.com to the email address associated with your account. Open the email on your iOS phone and complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Click the Activate Your Account button in the email.

  2. Enter your new password and select Create My Account.
  3. Click Configure factor.
  4. From the Setup Okta Verify window, select the device type that you downloaded the Okta Verify app onto and click Next.
  5. Open the Okta Verify app and click Get Started > Next > Add Account. Choose your account type:
    • If you have a Johnson Controls Single-Sign-On (SSO) account , click Organization and select your Johnson Controls SSO account.
    • If you do not have a Johnson Controls SSO account, click Other.
  6. In the My Apps section of the Okta home page, select Tempered cond‑amera-tempered, see Figure 2. This redirects you to the Conductor, where you can access the remote access user portal.
