About this task

The HMS1655 incorporates a flexible alarm facility that can meet most application requirements. The alarm system includes both visual and audible alarms that you can independently enable for each monitored analog input in the system.

Procedure

  1. There are two distinct audible alarms to indicate higher and lower priority alarm conditions by sound alone. You can use the Alarm Quiet Period feature integrated in the HMS1655 to suppress of the audible alarms while visual and networking alarms can continue.
  2. You can access all of the configuration settings associated with the HMS1655 alarm facility on the Alarms Setup option on the second page of the System Setup menus.
  3. You can use the options on this menu to enable individual alarms for each of the universal analog inputs and the two thermistor inputs. You can configure up to four distinct alarm setpoints for each analog input.
