About this task
Procedure
- If you select Setpoints Mode as the trigger mode for the relay output, enter a high setpoint and a low setpoint. The high setpoint determines the threshold at which the relay output activates if in direct acting mode, or deactivates if in reverse acting mode. The low setpoint determines the threshold at which the relay output deactivates if in direct acting mode, or activates if in reverse acting mode.
- After specification of the high and low setpoints, enter the acting mode and delay associated with the relay output.
- In direct acting mode, the relay output activates when the sensor input exceeds the high setpoint, and deactivates when the sensor input falls below the low setpoint.
- In reverse acting mode, the relay output deactivates when the sensor input exceeds the high setpoint, and activates when the sensor input falls below the low setpoint. The relay output delay is a maximum of three minutes in duration.
