About this task

You can display each of the analog input resources available on the HMS1655 with one of two engineering units settings: imperial and metric. The default engineering units setting is imperial.

  1. To change the units settings for a particular analog input, tap Engineering Units on the System Setup menu.
  2. The four universal analog inputs and two thermistor inputs are shown as options on the Engineering Units Setup menus. Select one of these options to open the AI-x Engineering Units popup where you can select either imperial units or metric units.
Note: The choice of engineering units available is dependent on how the specific analog input was configured. For analog inputs configured for differential pressure measurements, the available options for engineering units include inches of water column and pascals. For an analog input configured to measure air flow using a velocity sensor, the available engineering units are ft/min and m/sec. The two thermistor inputs measure temperature and are displayed in degrees Fahrenheit or degrees Celsius.
