Figure 1 provides configuration support for the settings associated with the sash position sensor of the monitored fume. This includes field calibration of the sash position sensor after installation, selection of the sash alarm operating mode, configuration of the sash alarm heights, and set up of the Sash Control capability of the fume hood controller.
The Field Calibration option provides support for calibration of the sash position sensor that monitors the sash opening height of the fume hood. The Operating Mode option on the Sash Setup menu enables selection of the monitored fume hood sash alarm operating mode from four available modes. The Sash Heights option supports high sash alarm level and low mute level configuration, as well as the sash high alarm delay configuration. The Sash Control option enables configuration and control of Sash Control mode. The sash position can control the exhaust damper position to accelerate the speed to achieve a setpoint when the sash is opened or closed.
