About this task

The ExAccel Setup option on the Fume Hood Setup menu opens the ExAccel Settings configuration screen. This feature enables the analog output to control the exhaust damper for the monitored fume hood and quickly position it to minimize the time required to achieve the target setpoint.

Procedure

  1. Set the ExAccel On setting to the face velocity below which the exhaust damper is adjusted at maximum speed to achieve the target setpoint as quickly as possible.
  2. Set the ExAccel Off setting to the face velocity above which the exhaust damper is adjusted normally to achieve the target setpoint whenever the sash is opened or moved.
