With the PID Loop Setup option in the Controller Setup menus, you can specify the proportional, integral, and derivative constants to determine the performance and characteristics of the control scheme when you configure the HMS1655 to use analog output 1 for closed-loop control applications. This option opens the PID Loop Settings, where the user can fine-tune the PID constants to use the closed-loop control scheme for analog output 1. You can adjust these three dimensionless constants from 0 to 100 with the three sliders on the configuration screen.

See the PID tutorial for more information about how to fine-tune the PID constants for a specific application.
