About this task

A battery-backed, real-time clock maintains the HMS1655 system time and date in the event of a power loss. If the controller connects to a building automation system with a time master, then the time and date are synchronized with the time server associated with the master. The HMS1655 supports the Time Synchronization service requests on a BACnet MS/TP network.

Procedure

  1. To configure the time and date settings, tap Display Setup > Set Time and Date. This option opens the time entry popup where you can specify the current time in 12-hour format.
  2. After you enter the digits for the current time, tap A/P to specify whether the time is AM or PM, and tap Next to advance to the date entry popup.
  3. Enter the date in a month-day-year sequence (MM/DD/YY). Tap Finish to save the new time and date settings to the controller’s real-time clock.
  4. Alternatively, tap the date and time on the main display screen to enter the date and time directly.
