Procedure

  1. Terminate wiring as shown in Figure 1.
  2. Wire other devices to the SA bus.
  3. Wire the SA bus in a daisy-chain.

Note: If you use multiple I/O modules and you position the JDB8410-1 module at one end of the SA bus daisy-chain, set the EOL switches on the last module to ON. See Figure 1 for more information.
  1. Ensure that the device address DIP switches are set to the appropriate hardware address in the range of 128 to 254. See Figure 1 for more information.
  2. Connect the JDB8410-1 module to a power source.
  3. Configure and commission the JDB8410-1 module with the CCT. See Configuring and commissioning for more information.
