The P-Series control is available with several switch options and electrical ratings. Check the
label on the control body for the model number, and see Table 1 for
the standard duty electrical contact rating for your model. Refer to the following
warnings and diagrams when you wire a P-Series control.
WARNING
- Risk of Electric Shock
- Disconnect or isolate all power supplies before making electrical connections. More than one disconnection or isolation may be required to completely de-energize equipment. Contact with components carrying hazardous voltage can cause electric shock and may result in severe personal injury or death.
Avertissement
Important: Make all wiring connections in accordance with the National Electrical Code
(NEC) and all local regulations. Use copper conductors only. Do not exceed the P-Series
control’s electrical rating.
The following figure shows the P-Series control's open-low switch action that occurs during a
pressure drop, and the open-high switch action that occurs during a pressure rise.

The following figure shows the SPDT switch position at low pressure. Open C to B, and close C to
A on rise. The 1/4 in. male spade terminal locations A, B, and C are also shown.

Important: When you mount and wire the P-Series control, attach a reliable set of gauges
to the controlled equipment and operate the equipment for at least three cycles at the
pressures necessary to verify control setpoints and proper operation. Do not exceed the
manufacturer’s recommended pressure ratings for the controlled equipment or any of its
components when you operate the controlled equipment.
