Follow the equipment manufacturer’s field diagrams if provided. Make all wiring to conform to the National Electrical Code and local regulations. Refer to the cover label of the control for the maximum electrical rating.
The wiring terminals of the single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) model are color coded for convenience and to simplify wiring. Red is the common terminal; red to yellow circuit closes on temperature increase, red to blue circuit opens on temperature increase. Use copper conductors only.
Important: Use the supplied 8-32 × 1/4 in. binder head terminal
screws. Substitution of other screws could cause problems in making correct
connections.
