You can use the A19E temperature control with the following locations:

  • Warm air furnaces
  • Ventilating systems
  • Air conditioners
  • Reverse flow heating plants, with duct or plenum mounting.

You can use the A19E temperature control for the following purposes:

  • To control fan operation
  • To open the blower circuit of a fan when the temperature is too low to circulate warm air:

The fan control turns on the blower after the air heats to a suitable temperature. The blower continues to run until the air temperature drops to a predetermined level.

  • As a temperature control on ducts, to sense the temperature in the furnace plenum or duct and operate the heating unit
  • As a temperature cutout control for the listed locations. You must manually reset the control after a cutout.
Important: Use this A19 control only as an operating control. Where failure or malfunction of the control could lead to personal injury or property damage to the controlled equipment or other property, additional precautions must be designed into the control system. Incorporate and maintain other devices, such as supervisory or alarm systems or safety or limit controls, intended to warn of or protect against failure or malfunction of the control.
