The single-stage A19BAC and two-stage A28AA temperature controls incorporate single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches for controlling automatic ventilation or heating. The 30°F to 110°F (-1°C to 43°C) and 0°F to 140°F (-18°C to 60°C) temperature ranges facilitate many space applications. The controls with Type 1 (NEMA) enclosures are for applications where the environment is free of corrosive gases, excessive dust, and dust with water. For installations that require compliance with Article 547 of the National Electrical Code (NEC), use an A19P or T19P series control.

Important: The A19 or A28 thermostat is intended to provide an input to equipment under normal operating conditions. Where failure or malfunction of the thermostat could lead to personal injury or property damage to the controlled equipment or other property, additional precautions must be designed into the control system. Incorporate and maintain other devices, such as supervisory or alarm systems or safety or limit controls, intended to warn of or protect against failure or malfunction of the thermostat.
