Procedure
- When next to each other, turn both ZFR-HPSST-0 battery pack power switches to ON.

Press and hold the join button on each unit to set their Tx
power output. Release the button when in the required state, see Table 1. Both units
should have the same setting.
- Select 100 mW for ZFR1831 Router-Router/TEC3000 testing.
- Select 10 mW for Router-Sensor testing.
- Select 10 mW for ZFR181x or ZFR182x Router testing.
- Verify the LEDs go from an unpaired to a paired state, see Table 2.
- Place each ZFR-HPSST-0 device in a target location.

Observe the LED pattern on either ZFR-HPSST-0, and refer to
Table 2 to
determine signal strength.
Note: A red LED indicates a poor signal. Either use a better mounting location, if possible, or a repeater to achieve a stable wireless network.

Once you determine the sites, turn the battery pack to the off
position to conserve battery life.
