About this task

Once the VGE tool is registered and the license file is applied, the User Validation dialog box appears and your user credentials are required for validation and access.

Procedure

  1. In the User Validation dialog box, enter your Global Directory credentials.

  2. Click OK.
    User Validation Options:
    • If you have a Johnson Controls Global Directory account and your computer is connected to the Johnson Controls network, enter your Global Directory credentials.
    • If you do not have a Johnson Controls Global Directory account or the computer is not connected to the Johnson Controls network, import a user file. The user file is supplied by SIS Europe.
    Once user credentials are validated, the validations process is complete.
    Note: After you have entered the user credentials, you can change them by clicking Tools > Settings.
