About this task

Before you create a VMD file, you can change the language and account settings for the VGE tool. These settings are initially set during installation of the tool.

Procedure

  1. Select Tools > Settings.
    The Settings dialog box appears with the Language tab activated.

  2. Select the desired language and dictionary version from the drop-down lists.
    Note: Enumeration sets change across versions, so the Dictionary Version option allows you to chose the compatibility of the specific version of the Enumeration Sets used for Units and States Text. In rare cases, the enumerations sets of one version are not present in others. For example, the enumeration sets of version 5.2 are not present in version 6.0.
  3. Click the Account tab.
  4. Click Change User Name.
    The User Validation dialog box appears.

  5. Type the new user ID and password.
  6. Click OK.
    Note: A message appears indicating that you must restart your computer for the changes to take affect. Click OK and Yes to restart your computer if you have made these changes.
