About this task

Files with Gateway capabilities are used to access the Modbus devices and supply information in a modular and repetitive way. Formula and parameters are used to move the pointer at the desired memory location.

Procedure

  1. Select Edit > Add Gateway Formula.

    The Gateway Formula is added at the top of the table (Figure 2).

  2. Click Formula in the Unique ID column to add the address and set the pointer.
  3. To remove the Gateway Formula, select Edit > Remove Gateway Formula.
