The SNE2200x models:

  • succeed the NAE55 Series of network engines. For details about how to migrate an NAE55 to an SNE2200x model, see NAE to SNE migration and Migrating NAE to SNE.

  • support up to two RS485 field buses and one LonWorks network into a Metasys system network. The field bus can be the legacy N2 Bus or a BACnet MS/TP trunk. Each bus or trunk may contain up to 100 equipment controllers for a total of 200 controllers. The LonWorks network is integrated with the addition of a USB LonWorks adapter and supports up to 255 LonWorks devices.

  • monitor and control up to 200 BACnet IP or BACnet/SC devices over Ethernet at the supervisory level

  • support up to two vendor integrations, including Modbus, M-Bus, KNX, C•CURE/victor, MQTT, OPC UA, Zettler MXSpeak, and Zettler
  • serve as a Site Director supervising a maximum of three other network engines, which can be NAE55, SNE, or SNC model engines
