About this task
The Archive copy must have a unique name. By default, the new archive has the same name as the one you are copying with a number appended to the name.
To copy an archive database:
Procedure
- With an archive database open, select Create Archive Copy from the Item menu. The Copy Archive wizard appears.
- Select the archive to copy from the list.
- Type a name for the new Archive database copy in the right pane of the wizard.
- Click Copy.
- Click Yes when prompted to close the current database. The new Archive copy opens.
