To use the Remote Desktop function with a laptop that has a Windows 7 or later operating system:

  1. Using the NCT Tool in Advanced Mode, on the Connections tab, click Discover to discover devices.
  2. In the list of discovered devices, select a network engine, then click Connect.
  3. Click Remote Desktop. The command window appears.
    Note: If the command window does not appear, press Ctrl+Alt+End, select Task Manager, select File > New Task (Run...) , enter cmd.exe, and click OK to launch the command window.
  4. In the command window, type explorer and press Enter. Windows Explorer appears.
