This feature allows you to synchronize the network engine’s date and time to the date and time on the computer running NCT. The command sent from the NCT to the network engine contains the time in UTC format. This feature can synchronize network engine date and time across time zones when the correct time zones are configured on the network engine and the computer.

Important: Take care in using this tool. You can cause devices to go offline if your computer time differs more than 5 minutes from the time on the Site Director.

When date and time synchronization is successful, it is recorded in the Connection Activity log at the bottom of the NCT window.
