Procedure

  1. Click the Upload Modbus Tables tab.
  2. Select the VMD files you want to upload.
  3. Click Upload. The lower pane displays the status of the upload process as the VMD files are uploaded to the connected NIEx9.

    Name

    Description

    Disconnect

    Disconnects from the NIEx9 to which the Driver Manager is currently connected.

    Clicking Disconnect does not exit the NIEx9 Driver Manager application.

    Upload

    Uploads the selected VMD files from the NIEx9 and saves the files in the working folder.

    Connect UI

    Connects to the Metasys user interface.

    Connect FTP

    Connects to the FTP server in an NIE29, 39, or 49.

    Note: For an NIE59, you can connect to the FTP server only when the Filezilla FTP client is installed on your computer.
