If the HVAC PRO Question/Answer session has a separate control loop configured, use the
Sideloop feature in CCT to add the control loop.
Note: When you add a control loop using
the Sideloop wizard, you must manually update the N2 Mappings table for the new
points.
Follow these steps to use the Sideloop feature in CCT to add a control loop.
- Add a new feature to the application. Refer to Controller Tool Help (LIT-12011147) for more information about adding a sideloop to existing applications.
- Click Define Hardware to assign points to the hardware. Refer to Controller Tool Help (LIT-12011147) for more information about defining hardware.
- Verify any attributes to map to the supervisor are BACnet Exposed.
- In the Features Panel
Advanced tab, select N2 Mappings and configure the applicable N2
Point Addresses (Figure 1). Verify that no
entries appear in red text.
- If the value is an input, network input, output, or a calculated value within the application, set the attribute to Present Value.
- If the value is an input or output within the application and is not a calculated value, change the attribute to Default Value.
Note: If red entries are present, you must edit the table and enter the correct N2 point addresses using the HVAC PRO file as a guide.Figure 1. N2 mappings table
- Save the changes.
- Click Create PRN File. The PRN file created is used as a resource file for NAE point mapping and as a reference for updating the NCM database. If you want the PRN information to match the information produced by HVAC PRO, edit the PRN file.
