The VMA14xx Series Variable Air Volume Modular controller was used extensively for VAV box control. The VMA14xx featured the integration of a differential pressure sensor and rotating actuator into the controller package to reduce its overall mounting footprint and simplify installation. The recommended FEC Series replacement controller model for the VMA14xx is the VMA1832. See the following sections for key differences. The VMA14xx can also be replaced by the CVM03050-0 Box Controller.
Note: The VMA1832 model remains the best functional replacement for a VMA1400 as it has a TSTAT jack.
