How do I assign a View to a user in Metasys UI?
- Open the User menu.
- Tap or click Administrative Tasks.
- Tap or click User Management.
- Tap or click Views.
- Search and select the View that you want to edit.
- Select the roles that can navigate to the View.
- Select the users that can navigate to the View.
- To save your changes, tap or click SAVE. To discard your changes, tap or click RESET.
How do I switch between Views?
- In the navigation panel on the left of your Metasys UI dashboard, click Views.
- Select the View that you want from the drop-down list. The tree updates automatically, based on the selected View.
Do Views also include Metasys UI Graphics and Trend Studies?
Yes, Views may include Metasys UI Graphics and Trend Studies. For Trend Studies created using SCT, SMP, or through Metasys UI's Network tree, view the Trend Study by selecting it in the user navigation tree. Metasys UI Graphics and any Trend Studies created through Metasys UI's Trend Study Manager do not appear directly in navigation trees in Views. These are available in the Metasys UI as a page when you select their parent location in the user navigation tree.
