TAD

Touch Advanced Display (TAD). The TAD is a comprehensive series of freely programmable operator interfaces that features both BACnet/IP and MS/TP communication and colorful, graphic displays with a touchscreen interface. TAD displays feature bright TFT 16:9 widescreens in 4.3 in., 7 in., and 10 in. sizes with a fully dimmable LED backlight and resistive touch interface. The integrated HTML 5.0 web server grants remote access whenever you connect the TAD to an accessible IP network.

Tailored summary

You can use this summary to view, command, and modify large quantities of similar data in a tabular format. Tailored Summaries are summary views of Metasys system items where the rows and columns of the summary are tailored to contain information of interest.

TEC

The TEC3000 Thermostat Controllers are wireless, stand-alone, and field-selectable BACnet® MS/TP or N2 networked devices that provide on/off, floating, and proportional control of rooftop, fan coil and heat pump equipment.

TCP/IP

Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol. A protocol for communication between computers, used as a standard for transmitting data over networks and as the basis for standard Internet protocols.

Trend extension

An option in the Site Management Portal UI and Metasys UI that you can use to monitor and record the changes in the behavior of an individual attribute over time, thereby assisting you with diagnosing various system-wide behavioral characteristics.

Trend log

A graphical or tabular representation of one or more data points as they transition through time.

Trend study

An option in the Site Management Portal UI that you can use to obtain historical data from both the Metasys server and the network engine. A trend study captures data from a point or object during a specific period of time or interval. Before a point or object can be in a Trend Study, it must have a trend extension.

Trend Viewer

An option in the Site Management Portal UI that you use to display graphically how a monitored point or object changes over time. Three different views are available: Trend Viewer Chart View, Trend Viewer Table View, and Trend Viewer Definition View.
