This document describes how to commission a network engine for integration with the Molex® lighting system. In this document, network engine refers to an NAE55, NAE85, SNE, or SNC series network engine, unless noted otherwise.

This document does not describe the following:
  • The commissioning steps required for a server-based NAE85 to operate on a Metasys® Building Automation System (BAS) network. For more information about commissioning an NAE85 software, refer to the NAE85 Commissioning Guide (LIT-12011044).
  • How to mount, wire, or power on an network engine.
  • How to build or download an archive database for a Metasys system site.
  • How to configure an network engine to monitor and control a BAS.
