Figure 1 shows how the POE or wireless lighting networks communicate with the SmartCast Link device. This device also provides a BACnet server that exposes virtual lighting devices and data points over BACnet/IP. Metasys can integrate this data through an NAE to operate the lighting system using schedules or occupancy logic, or display the lighting system data on Metasys UI dashboards and graphics, and much more.
