You can configure a SNMP Trap as a destination for event messages. The SNMP Trap DDA supports SNMP Versions 1, 2C, and 3.
Note: Beginning at
Metasys Release 10.1, configuring the Printer DDA in SMP is no longer enabled for the
Metasys Server on non-MVE sites, but you can use the Remote Notifications feature in Metasys
UI to provide equivalent functionality. Configuring the Printer DDA in SMP remains enabled
for MVE sites. For details, refer to Metasys UI Help (LIT-12011953).
