About this task
To command multiple extension objects together (Global Commanding):
Procedure
- Use the Global Search feature to find the extension objects (Alarm, Trend, or Totalization). You may also open a saved Object List containing extension objects. See Interlocking a Trend Extension for more information.
- Select the extensions you wish to command (must be of the same type).
- Select Commands from the Action menu. The Global Commands dialog box appears.
- Choose the command to send.
- Click Send.
