About this task

The data file to be imported must be in the following directory:

C:\ProgramData\Johnson Controls\MetasysIII\DatabaseFiles

To import part of an archive database from a file:

Procedure

  1. Open an Archive database.
  2. On the Item menu, select Import Item. The Import wizard appears.

  3. Select the file you want to import and click Import.

    Importing a file discards all change status indicators (the little green arrows in the navigation tree) from your database. Importing a Site Director into a database with existing User Views is not supported and may cause loss of User View data.

    When the import is complete, the new item appears in your navigation tree.
