About this task

Notes:
  • You cannot delete an extension in online mode with Basic Access.
  • For a trend extension that is configured to automatically transfer data to an Metasys Server or ODS (Repository Enabled = True), be sure to route unforwarded data to the Metasys Server or ODS before deleting the trend extension. If you do not, unforwarded trend data is lost.

Procedure

  1. To delete extensions (using the Navigation Tree):
    1. Select the item from the navigation tree and select Show Extensions from the Action menu.
    2. Select the check box of the extension you want to delete.
    3. Click Delete.
  2. To delete extensions (when the item is in the Panel Layout):
    1. View the extension.
    2. Select the tab for the extension.
    3. Select the extension.
    4. Click Delete.
