The Options pane contains the following setting for Trend, Access
Historian Trend and SQL Historian Trend reports:
- N+1 Samples: select to create reports for energy consumption computation. When you select this option, a further sample is added to the report. For example, when you do not select the N+1 samples option and the Sample Time is 15 minutes, a daily report adds the last sample at 23:45. However, when you select the N+1 samples option, the last sample in the report is taken at 0:00 of the next day, thus allowing energy computation as the difference between the sample taken at 0:00 of the next day and the sample taken at 0:00 of the current day.
- Collection Period: defines a sub-interval within the collection period. Use one
of the following modes:
- Classic Mode: enter the period when you want the data sampled. For example, if a daily report starting at 6:00 AM is configured and the Collection Period is set to 8 hours, the report includes only samples from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The data from 2:00 PM to 6:00 AM of the following day is discarded.
- Gold Mode: You can select for each day of the week the intervals that you want data sampled. To configure the intervals, click the Edit schedule button.
