You must create an API user for the application that uses the Metasys library:

Create the login user identification in the Site Director Application Data Server/Extended Application and Data Server (ADS/ADX), Open Application Server (OAS), or the Open Data Server (ODS).
Note: The latest available version of the ODS is Release 10.1. The ODS is not available for upgrade to Metasys Release 11.0.
For previous versions, you can create a regular user. For more information, see Login method.
