The Metasys Performance Verification Tool (PVT) Site Assessment Report is available from the PVT Cloud Dashboard. You can download the report in Microsoft ® Word to view a Site Summary which highlights critical issues and warnings within the site. You can download the Microsoft ® Excel format for detailed site scan data.
The report is designed to summarize the risk level of the project by running analytics on several data points gathered through a PVT scan such as Performance, Object, Engine, Trunk, and Controller information. The Site evaluation tool runs a set of analytics against this information to assess your site for OpenBlue® onboarding readiness.
Use this tool in the pre-sales phase of all OpenBlue projects. If any issues are detected, you must address these before finalizing the sale.
It is critical to perform a site evaluation of the Metasys BAS system for the successful sale and deployment of any OpenBlue project. If hidden risks are left unidentified, they can impact the bottom line significantly. For example, you may find one or more of your Network engines have more than the recommended number of objects or more than the recommended number of controllers on a field bus. If you connect OpenBlue to these engines, you run a risk of pushing the engine past its performance capabilities and causing it to restart or stop functioning all together. If this is discovered this may impact cost of project
