About this task

In online mode with Basic Access, you can edit only the Schedule and Calendar objects.

The term edit refers to changing items using the Edit button as described in this procedure. The term modify refers to changing items using the Modify menu item and the Modify dialog box. See the Modify Dialog section.

To edit the attributes of an item:

Procedure

  1. View the details of the item in a display panel.
  2. Select an item tab (for example, Focus).
    Note: Some items contain an Advanced radio button. If you select this button, additional attributes appear.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Edit the attributes as needed.
    Note: If you place your cursor over an edit field, the ToolTip provides information about the valid format or range for that value. ToolTips also appear for strings.
  5. Click Save.
